Perthshire actor lands part in Glasgow crime thriller

A Perthshire actor has landed a leading role a new feature film to be released instantly to audiences online.
Auchterarder-born Alton Milne stars in thriller TimeLock, to be screened at a glittering event in Glasgow on Friday, shortly before it becomes available to download.
The 36-year-old plays a sinister character in the film about a botched robbery, written and directed by Scottish Bafta-nominated David Griffith.
His turn in the low-budget feature, filmed in Glasgow and Dumfries in less than a fortnight, has won him comparisons to a young Harvey Keitel.
In an interview with The Courier, the actor describes himself as “a country boy at heart”, having grown up in a rural Auchterarder.
TimeLock will be released online on Friday on Vimeo Pro and Distrify, directly following a screening in Glasgow’s Centre for Contemporary Arts.
