A lecturer at Dundee University is to face nursing bosses after being accused of making errors while moonlighting at a Perth care home.
Sandra Forbes will appear before the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) in Edinburgh later this month.
She is alleged to have worked at Viewlands House on “numerous” occasions between July 2009 and April 2010 while on sick leave from the university and to have made mistakes in the administration of medicines to five residents at the home.
It is claimed that on December 1 2011 she failed to mark correctly in records that she had administered medication.
It is further alleged that in relation to four of the patients she did not have access to those records, and that she lied to the manager that she had not given the five patients medication.
The NMC claims that Mrs Forbes failed to tell the university that concerns had been raised in relation to the alleged errors, or that there was an investigation into her fitness to practise.
The final charge states that the alleged conduct showed dishonesty on the part of Mrs Forbes.
