ByThe Courier Reporter
A Perth man has admitted sexually assaulting a woman as she slept and taking photographs of her naked body.
Dane Lundie, 31, of Collinson View, pled guilty to the charge when he appeared at Perth Sheriff Court yesterday.
Fiscal depute Carol Whyte stated that 19 images in total were found on Lundie’s mobile phone.
She told the court that the complainer and the accused had started an affair when the complainer was in a relationship with someone else.
The complainer claimed to have been sent one of the images by the accused in November 2014.
The accused’s phone was seized when police searched his home relating to another matter and the complainer later contacted police with her concerns regarding Lundie.
Lundie admitted that, on November 16 2014 at an address in Collinson View, Perth, he sexually assaulted a woman, while she was sleeping and incapable of providing consent, by touching her and taking photographs of her naked body.
Lundie was released on bail and sentence was deferred until next month.
