Entries are being sought for the first Cycletta Scotland event, which will take place in Perthshire later this year.
The organisers have set an ambitious target of getting more than one million ladies on their bikes to raise money for Macmillan.
They have now issued a call to the women of Scotland to ensure a tartan army turns up at Scone Palace on September 15.
No previous experience is needed, as last year more than half of all entrants enjoyed their very first cycling event.
Open to women of all ages and abilities, Cycletta Scotland will feature a range of distances to suit everyone the Classic 40km route; the Challenge, which covers between 52 and 83km, and a new 20km route.
Event ambassador, Olympic medalist Victoria Pendleton said: “The fact that the series has grown from two events to seven over the last few years proves that more and more ladies are taking up cycling.”
