Michael Gardyne is keen to extend his current stay with Ross County, having arrived for his third spell with the club on loan from Dundee United in September.
His deal expires next month and the 28-year-old said: “I’m not sure what’s happening. I’ll need to speak to the manager.
“Hopefully it all’s good we’ll get it sorted out soon. I’m enjoying it. I’ve been playing matches and have scored one or two goals.
“I could do with scoring a few more but I want to be playing football. I’ll speak to the manager and see what he’s thinking then take it from there.”
