Key players from Scotland’s crafts, art and design industry gatKey players from Scotland’s crafts, art and design industry gathered in Dundee last night for the inaugural Inches Carr Scottish Craft Awards.
The ceremony, hosted by Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design (DJCAD), was organised to celebrate new and innovative work being produced by art and design graduates from across Scotland.
As part of the event, four Graduate Craft Award prizes totalling £10,000 were awarded to three graduates of Edinburgh College of Art Harry Morgan, Karolina Baines and Lucy Simpson and to DJCAD graduate, Sayoko Kobayashi.
Robin Blair, Chair of the Inches Carr Trust said: “We hope that these new awards will be an encouragement to the many marvellously creative graduates who come out of the Scottish Art and Design Colleges.”
