Fast growing Scottish legal firm Gilson Gray has established a new office in Dundee with 16 staff.
The South Tay Street office, which will offer financial as well as legal advice, adds to the firm’s presence across three ofices in Edinburgh as well as Glasgow and East Lothian.
The firm said it hoped to add up to 20 additional staff to its Dundee operation in the coming months.
Glen Gilson, managing partner of Gilson Gray, said moving to Dundee was the next “natural step” for the company.
He said: “There is a strong market in Dundee with a rapidly growing urban population and a rejuvenated business sector, making this a perfect opportunity to serve local companies and communities.
“This is the natural next step for us – it’s another point of expansion and reflects our goal to be the best law firm in Scotland.”
The group was established in 2014 and acquired Edinburgh-based property services firm Coulters Letting last November.
Gilson Gray Financial Management, the firm’s investment arm, has been one of the fastest-growing businesses of its type in Scotland.
