A unique blend of Easter celebrations and eclectic home grown musical talent will combine in Anstruther over the Easter weekend with the holding of the Yellae Deuks festival (that’s Yellow Ducks to non-locals!)
The music festival held in Anstruther features live performances as well as an indoor picnic and the annual duck race organised by Anstruther Improvements Association.
Antics got under way on Thursday night with a performance by King Creosote at the East Neuk Hotel in Crail.
He’ll be back on Saturday evening, however, when he performs at the Anstruther Dreel Halls alongside the likes of Captain Geeko and Lomond Campbell and Des Lawson.
On Saturday morning the annual duck race takes place in the Dreel Burn, Anstruther, at 10.30am.
Then on Sunday there will be a special sing-a-long version of the 1978 classic musical Grease at the Dreel Halls at 3pm courtesy of Anster Cinema.
