Look out those tartan scarves and flares!

Les McKeown’s Bay City Rollers are bringing their Shang A Lang to Angus as part of a UK tour.

McKeown and his legendary band ruled the world’s 1970s pop charts and The Bay City Rollers’ music became the soundtrack for a generation of teenagers.

Now Les brings back all the thrill and excitement of Rollermania, performing all the original hits including Bye Bye Baby, Shang-a-Lang, Remember, Summerlove Sensation and Give A Little Love plus many many more as well as introducing new songs.

Edinburgh-born Les, 61, became the lead singer of the Rollers just a few days after his 18th birthday and, with the addition of his voice and personality, they notched up nine UK top 10 hits and two number ones, between 1974 and 1978.

Following the acrimonious split of the band in the early 1980s, Les has been touring with his own band under the name Les McKeown’s Bay City Rollers since 1992.
