Group of schoolchildren found after being reported missing in Brecon Beacons

A group of schoolchildren have been found after they went missing in the Brecon Beacons in atrocious weather conditions.

It is believed that around 20 schoolchildren were lost, after they were last seen near the Tafarn Y Garreg pub, Abercraf, Powys.

Landlord Andy Maglaras said the rescue teams have found the children, believed to be on a school trip, and are bringing them to safety.

The alarm was raised at about 1pm and saw three mountain rescue teams and police deployed.
