Buses are once again being cancelled between St Andrews and Dundee due to the return of temporary traffic lights in a Fife village.
Work, expected to last several months, is under way to repair arches at the New Bridge across the River Eden in Guardbridge. The work has been causing traffic issues for several weeks.
On Tuesday morning Stagecoach East Scotland cancelled a number of 99 services between Dundee and St Andrews due to temporary traffic lights. 42 services between the city and Tayport have also been called off.
The bus firm posted to Twitter: “The temporary traffic lights in Guardbridge are scheduled to be in place sometime this morning so delays and cancellations to services are inevitable. Apologies in advance.”
