[[success]] Email address Sign up Emergency services raced to Kinross-shire on Monday night after receiving a report of a car on fire on a country road. Firefighters, police and paramedics sped to the B919 near Wester Balgedie after receiving multiple calls about the smouldering vehicle. Police arrived shortly after 8.30pm and closed the road while firefighters extinguished the flames and cleared up the wreckage. A spokesperson said: “One male was treated at the scene by paramedics for minor smoke inhalation but was not taken to hospital. “There were no serious injuries.” Officers confirmed that the road reopened later that evening.
