ScotRail has warned of extra delays and disruption this morning after a points failure at Dundee.
Transport chiefs had already cancelled 160 services in advance today because of the threat of severe weather.
The problems are being exacerbated after the failure at Dundee.
ScotRail says engineers are on their way and should begin fixing the problem at 6.30am.
It advises any would-be rail travellers to check the status of services here.
