Commuters were hit by late-night delays on trains through Fife following an issue on the Forth Bridge on Monday night.
The signalling fault on the iconic railway crossing caused disruption to services between Edinburgh and Dundee.
Network Rail fixed the fault before 10pm.
There were delays on journeys to Aberdeen, Dundee, Glenrothes, Kirkcaldy and Dunfermline until late on Monday evening.

ScotRail posted: “Due to a fault with the signalling system between Dalmeny and North Queensferry disruption is expected until 10pm.
“We are dealing with a signalling issue on the Forth Bridge. Our staff are on site and working hard to fix the fault.
