Rail services in Fife were disrupted after a train door malfunctioned.
On Monday, the 12.08pm Arbroath to Edinburgh service was stopped on the stretch of southbound track between Leuchars and Cupar because of the fault.
Because of this, the line heading towards Kirkcaldy was blocked and services between Dundee and Edinburgh were disrupted over lunchtime.
UPDATE: Following an earlier train fault between #Leuchars and Cupar the line towards Kirkcaldy is now open. Train services running through these stations are returning to normal, but some services may still be delayed or revised. ^Carrie
