Perth youngsters have continued to impress judges at the annual Perform in Perth festival being held in the Fair City.

Thursday and Friday morning saw school children recite poetry and Bible readings as well as putting their best foot forward in the drama categories.

Adjudicator Brian Marjoribanks has been hugely impressed with the talent on show so far.

Brian said: “I adjudicate all over Scotland but this today was quite unique.

“It is the first time I have came across the imagination that has gone into creating an under 11 years of age section for dramatic arts.

“Here we saw four characters created in a natural manner, full of movement, excellent characters, naturalistic visual interpretation and an understanding of comedy time.

“It was most original and entertaining.”
