Dundee United made it ten signings for the summer today when they fixed up Adam Barton from Partick Thistle.
The 27-year-old has joined on a two-year deal.
A central midfielder was formerly with Preston North End, Coventry City, Portsmouth and most recently Partick, where he was player of the year in his first seaso
English-born Adam has one full cap for Northern Ireland as well as five for the Republic of Ireland at U-21 level.
“I am delighted to have secured the signing of a player of Adam’s ability. He is giving us crucial height and physicality in defensive midfield and is a strong character to have in the squad,” said manager Csaba Laszlo.
