The biggest event on Scotland’s farming calendar is under way near the Scottish capital. Some 200,000 people are expected to attend the 178th Royal Highland Show at Ingliston, with doors opening to the public on Thursday. The four-day event showcases the best in Scottish farming, food and rural life. Cattle, sheep and horses were among the animals being groomed and shown during the event’s opening days.
