A schoolgirl suffered minor injuries after a car ran over her foot on Macalpine Road in Dundee on Wednesday morning. Emergency services were called to the incident around 8.30am. One eyewitness said he believed a schoolgirl was involved in a collision with a car. He said: “There was a driving instructor on the side of the road with her. His car had stopped and had its hazard lights on.” The incident occurred by St Leonard’s and St Fergus Church, close to St Andrews Primary School. A spokesman for Police Scotland’s Tayside Division said a 16-year-old girl suffered minor foot injuries but did not require hospital treatment.
