A 31-year-old man may be permanently scarred after being assaulted while walking through a Dundee park.
The man was walking at Stobsmuir Ponds at Clepington Road around 4pm on Friday when he was assaulted by another man.
The incident occurred on the path between the two ponds.
A spokesman for Police Scotland’s Tayside Division say the man suffered facial injuries that may result in permanent scarring.
Officers want to trace a man described as in his 20s and wearing shorts and a yellow T-shirt.
Police also want to speak to a woman seen in the Swannie Ponds area who was approached by the person responsible immediately after the attack and was spoken to by him before he made off.
Anyone with any information should contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting CR/13836/18, or speak to any police officer.
