VIDEO: Moment joyriding motorcyclist made getaway from police after crash

This is the moment a Dundee motorcyclist, who ploughed into a woman during a joyride at “excessive speed” through the city, made off from police.

Bradley Forsyth was jailed on Monday after admitted driving dangerously on roads in the Hilltown and Coldside areas of Dundee before crashing his motorcycle.

Bradley Forsyth was filmed trying to make off from police following the crash.

And this footage shows the aftermath of the smash, with Forsyth seen making off from officers before they arrive at the scene at the foot of the Hilltown.

The 27-year-old drove “at excessive speed” on Clepington Road, Hilltown, Strathmartine Road and Kinghorne Road, mounted and drove along a pavement and “repeatedly caused a wheel to leave the ground”.

During the rampage he drove the bike at a pedestrian, striking her but leaving her uninjured.

The 27-year-old, of Polepark Road, Dundee, pleaded guilty to charges of dangerous driving and driving without insurance committed on August 22.

On Monday, Sheriff Alastair Brown jailed Forsyth for four months and banned him from driving for 18 months and until he resits the driving test.
