Firefighters are tackling a massive fire at a Highland Perthshire hotel.
Emergency services were called to Fisher’s Hotel in Pitlochry just after 6am on New Year’s Day morning.
About 50 firefighters from as far afield as Inverness are tackling the roof fire.
Around 200 guests were evacuated from the Atholl Street venue and given sheltered, food and hot drinks at the nearby Scotland’s Hotel on Bonnethill Road.
They have been bussed to the Atholl Palace in Pitlochry, the Fisher’s sister hotel.
A new year’s day street party, which usually draws around 5,000 people into town, has had to be cancelled.
