The plane dubbed ‘Trump Force One” has touched down at Aberdeen International Airport ahead of the US president’s visit to the UK.
The Boeing 757 200 landed in the Granite City at 6.50am on Thursday and is due to take off at 4pm.
American president Donald Trump is due to arrive at Stansted Airport on Thursday lunchtime en route to a meet and greet at the US embassy. He has been attending the Nato summit in Brussels.
Trump Force One is a nickname given to the the US president’s private jet.
Yesterday Eric Trump, the president’s son, tweeted that he would be visiting Trump International Golf Links on Thursday.
The controversial golf course is located about 10 miles north of Aberdeen Airport.

The US president is not due to arrive in Scotland until Friday evening.
Protesters will take to the streets of Dundee on Friday as part of a “massive united show of opposition” against US President Donald Trump’s visit to the UK.
