Dundee United are going Dutch again and will sign Willem II defender Frank van der Struijk this weekend.
The 31-year-old, who can play central defence or right-back, was at Willem II in the Netherlands and also counts Vitesse Arnhem among his former clubs.
He has agreed a one-year deal with Ray McKinnon’s side.
Van der Struijk will link up again with Tannadice midfielder Nick van der Velden, with whom he played at Willem II last season.
It was Van der Velden was the one who recommended his fellow Dutchman to McKinnon.
