Housebuilder Dundas Estates is set to start selling the second phases of its two developments in Fife.

The Livingston-based firm anticipates completing Ostlers Way in Kirkcaldy and Annfields in Dunfermline within the next four years.

Ostlers Way with almost 230 dwellings was launched in August 2014 and Annfields with around 160 began in September 2015.

Both have a mix of homes from two-bedroom flats to three, four and five-bedroom houses.

Managing director Bruce Dunlop said: “We know that both Kirkcaldy and Dunfermline are community-oriented, which fits in perfectly with our style of development.

“We also know that there are a lot of first-time buyers and commuters hoping to stay in Fife, and families looking for  options close to schools, which is why we carefully chose the locations of our developments to suit these needs.

He continued: “We’ve had a lot of success with the first phases of both developments, with Annfields selling out and only a few remaining at Ostlers Way.

“Both developments will be moving on to a second phase of sales in the next few months, and eventually there will be 159 dwellings at Annfields and 227 at Ostlers Way.

“Timescales are not confirmed but we anticipate the developments will be complete in the next three to four years.”

Dundas Estates won the best residential property in central Scotland prize for its Calderwood Village development in Coatbridge at the UK Property Awards.

The Lanarkshire project was one of only two in Scotland to achieve a five star rating.

Calderwood Village previously won the best large private development at the Homes for Scotland Awards and large housing development of the year at the Scottish Home Awards.

Mr Dunlop added: “This has been an extraordinary year for awards at Dundas and I am very proud of the team’s hard work and well-deserved achievements.”
