TOM Motors has ceased trading at the Citroen dealership at Macadum Place, Dryburgh Industrial Estate, Dundee, it’s been announced.
The nearest Citroen franchise dealerships to Dundee can now be found at Arnold Clark, 153 Dunkeld Road, Perth and at Duthie’s of Montrose, Brent Avenue, Montrose.
TOM Motors Citroen franchise will remain open at 4 Victoria East Road in Kilmarnock.
News of the closure has been met with disappointment by some customers on social media.
One said: “Shame nobody thought to tell their customers they were closing the outlet.
“Sorry but this is not how to treat long standing customers or staff.
“As a customer who has bought four cars from there I feel betrayed. We now have no place close to us if we need work done etc.”
The Courier contacted TOM Motors in Kilmarnock. No one was available for comment.
