Train services have been delayed after a lorry struck a rail bridge in the centre of Perth. The accident took place on the city’s Tay Street at around 4pm, resulting in significant disruption for passengers. ScotRail said the accident had affected services between Glasgow Queen Street and Dundee/Aberdeen. The line is expected to be closed for at least half an hour as engineers assess damage. No-one is though to have been injured in the incident. British Transport Police are at the scene.
