A 63-year-old van driver has died following a three-vehicle crash on a Kinross-shire road.
Police confirmed the driver died at the scene of the crash, which involved two Transit vans and a Jeep Cherokee, which had been towing a caravan.
The fatal crash occurred around 3.15pm on Friday afternoon.
A section of the A91, near Milnathort, close to the B996 junction, was closed at the time to allow an accident investigation to take place but re-opened around 10pm on Friday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed: “We can confirm there is a fatality involved.
“This was a three-vehicle collision, involving two Transit vans and a Jeep Cherokee, which was towing a caravan.
“A 63-year-old male driver of one of the Transit vans died at the scene. All other occupants of the vehicles were uninjured.”
He added: “Inquiries into the full circumstances of the collision are being carried out and, as with all deaths, a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
The identification of the man has not yet been released.
