Drivers warned as thick fog moves into Fife

Drivers in Fife have been told to be cautious after thick fog began affecting roads throughout the region.

Traffic Scotland has warned motorists of the issue, with locals in West Lothian also being told to be wary of the conditions.

Traffic Scotland’s fog warning covers “all routes” in Fife.

The organisation added: “Drivers in Fife are advised to use caution due to fog affecting driving conditions.”

It comes after the Met Office issued a yellow warning for heavy rain on Christmas Day, with western areas of Perthshire and Fife expected to be hit.
