The B9157 Invertiel Road was closed in both directions after the collision took place at around 8.20am. The incident took place near the K13 junction just outside Kirkcaldy, and paramedics were called to the scene as a precaution. However, a spokesperson for Police Scotland said there were no injuries and the road had to be closed as the vehicles were blocking the road. They were said to be “driveable” and were recovered from the scene a short time later. An eyewitness at the scene said it appeared two cars had collided head on.
