Coronavirus cases have been diagnosed in pupils and staff in numerous schools across Tayside and Fife.
There have now been at least 132 cases in staff, pupils and community contacts in Dundee, Perth, Angus and Fife.
Dundee has had cases in at least 13 primary, secondary and nursery schools across the city.
Fife has seen one or more cases in or linked with 42 separate schools and nurseries so far and Perth and Kinross has had cases in five schools.
Angus had no cases in the first term but in the second term two schools have been affected.
Angus
There have been two cases of Covid-19 in Angus schools.
Parents at Monifieth High School were informed of a pupil in S6 testing positive on October 22.
A pupil at Carnoustie High School has since tested positive.
Dundee
Dundee’s most recent cases follow the October break as several of the city’s secondary schools record cases.
An S4 pupil at Morgan Academy is understood to have tested positive. A large number of pupils in the year group are quarantining.
NHS Tayside confirmed a “small number” of pupils tested positive at both St John’s RC High School and Harris Academy, as well as Baldragon Academy and Craigie High School.
Harris Academy headteacher Barry Millar confirmed two cases, one relating to S3 and another in S6.
St John’s also had two previous positive cases, with one linked to a sibling with the virus at Dens Road Primary School.
Two children and one member of staff are also thought to have received positive tests at Rowantree Nursery.
The largest outbreak was at Kingspark School, where there were 40 connected cases.
The school, which has around 185 pupils with additional support needs, closed on August 20 following a series of positive cases but reopened on September 7.
There were 23 staff members, three pupils and 14 community contacted affected.
Also in Dundee, a single case was identified at Ss Peter and Paul’s RC Primary School.
The Primary 2A class were told to isolate at home for two weeks, returning to school on September 2.
There were two positive cases at Happy Times out-of-school care club, based at Downfield Primary School, which were linked to the Kingspark cases.
Meanwhile, pupils in primary three at St Clement’s RC Primary were also asked to self-isolate after a child at the school tested positive for Covid-19.
Two cases were confirmed at Grove Academy in Broughty Ferry in the first term. A further case has been diagnosed in the second term.
At Jessie Porter Nursery two members of staff tested positive.
Fife
Several schools tested positive for the virus following the October break.
Glenwood High School and Rimbleton Primary School, both in Glenrothes, recorded positive cases. It is Rimbleton’s second case overall.
Two cases were confirmed at Strathallan Primary School in Kirkcaldy, as well as two cases at Buckhaven Primary. A number of staff and pupils were asked to isolate.
St Andrew’s RC High School, in Kirkcaldy, recorded a single case.
NHS Fife also confirmed a positive case at Bell Baxter High School in Cupar in the first term, and there have been three after the October holiday.
Elsewhere, a person linked to Clentry Nursery in Kelty tested positive for the virus.
Two schools in Fife closed due to a number of cases.
Six members of staff and three pupils at Sinclairtown Primary School, Kirkcaldy, tested positive, resulting in pupils from seven classes and all teachers being asked to isolate at home. The school was closed for two weeks until the October holiday.
Seven people linked with Carnegie Primary School tested positive and it was closed on October 6 for the remainder of the term, with several classes and some teachers required to isolate.
Beath High School, in Cowdenbeath, has had 15 cases confirmed, Collydean Primary School, in Glenrothes, three, and Donibristle Primary School, Dalgety Bay, two.

Meanwhile, close contacts of a Lochgelly High School pupil who contracted the virus were also asked to stay at home from September 21.
Elsewhere in Fife, a pupil tested positive at Capshard Primary School, in Kirkcaldy, with pupils in P1 and P1/2 composite class told to stay at home as a precaution.
Cases at Kirkcaldy High School were revealed on October 1 and 5, with more than 100 pupils asked to self-isolate. They were not thought to be linked.
Queen Anne High School, in Dunfermline, has had two cases a month apart. In the first a second year class was told to self-isolate until September 11 after a pupil tested positive. On September 29 another second year class was told to isolate until October 1.
Also in Dunfermline, a child at Masterton Primary School tested positive. Isolating pupils returned to school on September 18.
And there was a case linked with St Columba’s RC High School in the town. Close contacts were asked to self-isolate for a fortnight.
On the same day as the St Columba’s case was revealed, NHS Fife said a person linked with Pitreavie Primary School had the virus and the number of people testing positive there has since grown to four.
A third Dunfermline secondary school confirmed a positive case. Woodmill High School confirmed the case on September 30. All third year pupils were asked to isolate until October 9.
Several cases were confirmed on Saturday, October 3.
A Primary 4/5 class at Kettle Primary School in Kingskettle were told to stay off school until October 13.
Meanwhile, South Parks Primary in Glenrothes recorded a positive case and a P5 class will have to isolate.
In Rosyth, a person linked with St John’s Primary School tested positive and two P7 classes were told to isolate.
Parents of all P1 pupils at Warout Primary in Glenrothes were told to keep children home until September 28 after a positive case emerged.
There have also been single cases at the nurseries at Newburgh, Foulford, Lochgelly West and Rimbleton primary schools, Little Beehive Nursery, in Kirkcaldy, and Westfield Family Nurture Centre, in Cupar.
Single cases linked with Anstruther and Leslie primary schools were revealed on September 29. An Anstruther the P6 class was told to isolate until October 8 and Leslie’s P2/3 class was asked to stay at home following a positive case.
At Aberdour Primary School, primary seven pupils were asked to stay off school until October 9, following a confirmed case.
People linked with Torbain Primary School, in Kirkcaldy, Mountfleurie Primary School, in Leven, Lumphinnans Primary School, Canongate Primary School and Madras College, both St Andrews, Tayport Primary School and Methilhill Primary School have also tested positive.
Perth and Kinross
A pupil at the Community School of Auchterarder tested positive for the virus and close contacts were asked to isolate until October 2.
A secondary school pupil at St John’s RC Academy, based at the city’s North Inch Community Campus, was diagnosed with the virus and close contacts stayed at home until September 2.
Elsewhere, one pupil at Oakbank Primary School in Perth and a second at Newhill Primary School in Blairgowrie tested positive for the virus/
Between the two schools, 41 children and staff were told to isolate until August 28.
