Police are hunting two men who left another male with a serious facial injury in an Angus street attack.
The victim was assaulted in Montrose High Street just before 3pm on December 22.
His assailants then made off in the direction of Murray Street.

Two passers-by helped the victim and Police Scotland said they were also keen to speak to the Good Samaritans.
