A 21-year-old man has been charged after a “disturbance” at a Forfar shop.
Police were called to the Countdown Family Store on the town’s Taranty Road on Saturday morning.
The man is due to appear at Forfar Sheriff Court on Monday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.10am on Saturday we received a report of a disturbance within a shop on Taranty Road in Forfar.

“Officers attended and a 21-year-old man was arrested and charged.
“He is due to appear at Forfar Sheriff Court on Monday.”
A witness told The Courier: “When I was at the shop on Saturday morning I could see there was a bit of bother.
“Police were at the shop speaking to the owner.
“There seemed to be a bit of a mess in the shop but I didn’t know what had happened.”
