A 34-year-old man was arrested on Monday following a disturbance in Montrose.
A full emergency response including armed police officers was scrambled to Glenlethnot Place following reports of an ongoing incident.
Police Scotland said specialist officers were providing support after the alarm was raised following an initial disturbance within a property.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Police Scotland can confirm that a 34-year-old man has been arrested following a disturbance in Glenlethnot Place, Montrose.
“We would like to thank the public for their patience while this incident was resolved.”
