Promoters have unveiled details of this year’s Dundee Dance Event this summer, which will feature nearly 200 DJs and artists.
The city’s biggest annual street party will be celebrating a decade of dance on May 2 and 3.
Some of the promoters taking part include Dare, the Spaceship, Housemates, the Rhumba Club, All Good, Le Freak and Friends, Rendition, Trash Disco, Paradise Palms and all-girl collective Polka Dot Disco Club.
This year will see the first full outdoor stage for the danceathon.
The stage will be set up at Park Place, where there will also be a fully licence open air bar.
An estimated 10,000 party-goers are expected to descend upon the city centre.
Organiser Mike McDonald said: “I’m looking forward to this year’s events more than ever.
“The Sunday looks like it could top previous years.
“It’s a challenge to try to enhance the event every year, but hopefully with the introduction of the outdoor arena we can achieve that.
“I don’t necessarily want the event to get bigger each year as I think having 30 venues taking part is a good number.
“For me, it’s about improving the quality and making it an even better experience for people attending.”
Some of the bars hosting events at the weekend include Kilted Kangaroo, Salty Dog, Underground, West House, Balcony Bar and Afrobeats.
The closing party, as ever, will take place at Dusa.
Proceeds from those ticket sales will go towards charities Macmillan and Clic Sargent.
