Brazen thieves smashed windows to force their way into a Broughty Ferry house during broad daylight on Tuesday. The house in Avon Crescent, Panmurefild, was broken into between 8am and 3.25pm. The thieves smashed French windows at the read of the property and made off with mobile phones, bank cards, cash and a quantity of jewellery. Police investigating the crime said they are keen to trace a man who was seen in the area. He wearing dark clothing and aged between 25 and 35.
