A Dundee street was closed off last night after a stone was spotted “hanging precariously” from a building.
Firefighters were called to Park Avenue after being informed of the safety issue by the city council at about 6.40pm.
An aerial appliance and support crew were called to the scene from Blackness Road.
A fire and rescue spokesman said: “We did attend, some stone was hanging over a building precariously. We were asked to attend by the building standards (team) from the city council.
“We attended and removed the loose masonry with a height vehicle. We received the call at 6.39pm. We were there until 7.27pm.”
