A mains burst in the Clepington Road area at about 3pm with properties affected for about half an hour. Scottish Water is currently in the process of a £5 million mains upgrade across its Dundee network, with work starting on the busy route in March. It was predicted to cause more than three months of traffic disruption. A Scottish Water spokesman said: “During mains upgrade work in the area a burst occurred causing disruption to supply for some customers. “The burst was quickly repaired by our team on site and normal supplies restored within half an hour. “We thank customers for their patience while this repair was made.”
