A fire at a derelict Fife farm is continuing to rage this morning.
Residents of the Duloch area of Dunfermline have been told to remain indoors amid fears of asbestos exposure from a blaze at the derelict South Fod Farm.
The fire started at around 4pm on Thursday and fire crews have remained at the scene throughout the night.
One appliance remains at the scene this morning.
An eyewitness told The Courier that there was a strong smell of chemicals in the air.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Police Scotland, along with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, are advising local people to keep their doors and windows closed following a fire a derelict farm in Linburn Road, Dunfermline.
“This message is precautionary. A further update will be released in due course.”
