Marathon woman Louise Johnstone has raised almost £4000 for local mental health charities.
Louise, from Dundee, has recently completed a 156 mile Saharan marathon in aid of Dundee Association of Mental Health.
The personal trainer has had her own battles with mental illness in the past and decided to don her running shoes and brave blistering temperatures in an attempt to challenge the stigma surrounding mental health.
Her efforts have been recognised by many-including Olympic hero Dame Kelly Holmes.
In a video tribute to Louise, Dame Kelly said: “Well done. Keep up the great work.
“I’m sure everyone will be really proud of you when you finish.”
