Brown Street Kennels are on the lookout for new owners for Buffy (and are yet to confirm whether or not she spends her evenings fighting vampires).

She is described as an “absolutely delightful dog” who gets on well with other calm dogs and children.

They have shared their appeal on Facebook, and she has so far proved very popular online.

The kennels point out she is in good condition for a dog of her age but her teeth will need a bit of attention.

They said: “She’s a really calm little lady and would suit a home with people who are at home and can exercise her.

“She’s also good with other calm dogs and children. She’s a little timid at the moment -which is to be expected- and really just needs someone to help her feel secure and safe.

“She really is going to make an excellent companion for someone.”
