Police have found a 36-year-old Castle Huntly prisoner who went on the run while on temporary release.
Absconder Gary Fraser failed to return to the prison following a temporary period of leave.
Fraser was reported missing to Police Scotland at 6pm on Sunday evening.
It had been thought the 36-year-old could have travelled to Inverness, where he is known to have connections.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “He is described as being five feet 11 inches tall, of slim build, is clean-shaven with short dark hair.
“If seen, members of the public should not approach him and should contact Police Scotland on 101.
“Anyone wishing to provide information anonymously can do so through the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
He was traced safe and well on Monday evening.
