Police called to crash on Dundee road

Police were called to a crash in Dundee on Friday afternoon.

The incident on Bank Street, Lochee, involved one vehicle and initially forced the closure of the route up to High Street.

Nobody is said to have been hurt in the collision.

An earlier Tayside Police Division statement said: “Officers in Dundee are currently dealing with a road traffic collision at Bank Street, Lochee.

“As a result the road eastbound between Bank Street and High Street Lochee is currently closed.”

The force later updated: “Police Scotland can advise that Bank Street, Lochee, has now reopened after the earlier road traffic collision.

“The public are thanked for their patience whilst the matter was dealt with.”
