VIDEO: Incredible Dundee city centre wall mural dedicated to famous city botanist appears
A striking wall mural dedicated to Dundee poet botanist William Gardiner has appeared in Dundee city centre.
The work, by renowned street artist Rogue-one, is in William Gardiner Square at the back of the Overgate Shopping Centre, which commissioned the work.
Many in the city will already know Rogue-one, whose real name is Robert McNamara, as the man behind the hugely popular Juggernaut mural at 71 Brewing.
Having started on Monday, he is expected to be finished by the weekend or early next week, depending on the weather.
Gardiner, who was born in the city in 1809, was the first to discover British examples of two species of moss in the Angus glens.
