Traffic was brought to a standstill following an incident on one of Scotland’s busiest roads on Monday afternoon.
A lorry overturned on the A9 Perth to Inverness road south of Dalwhinnie just before 4pm.
Traffic was heavy on both the northbound and southbound routes following the incident.
Vehicles were held as the lorry was recovered.
Police were called to the scene and helped direct traffic.
Traffic Scotland tweeted: “A9 South of Dalwhinnie. A9 partially blocked due to recovery of an overturned HGV. Police are directing traffic. Very slow in the area.”
