A trust fund set up by T in the Park chiefs has shared out £19,000 to grassroots groups across Perthshire.
The awards scheme was launched last year, in partnership with Foundation Scotland, to benefit people living in and around the show’s new Strathallan Castle home.
A similar scheme ran at the old Balado site for nearly 20 years and delivered a £385,450 boost to local causes.
This year pay-outs have been delivered to, amongst others, the Auchterarder Community Sports Association and the Blackford Fiddle Group.
Home Start Perth has been given £2,000 to help fund volunteer support schemes in Crieff and Strathearn.
The charity said the money will help train parent volunteers to support others locally who are finding parenting a challenge or who are facing a personal crisis.
Manager Hannah Blair said: “We are delighted to receive funding from the T in the Park Community Trust towards supporting the work of Home Start volunteers in the Strathean area.
“Home Start volunteers come from all walks of life and give their time freely to support families who are in need of a bit of a helping hand.”
She said: “The support they offer has a massive impact on the well-being of parents and children, helping parents to build a positive environment for their children when circumstances make that extra challenging.
“T in the Park funding will help us to provide volunteers with the support they need to enable them to do what they do best.”
Festival director Geoff Ellis said: “We are very proud to be able to create value in and support to the local community and see first-hand the positive impact it can make to local people.
“Local causes in Kinross-shire benefited from the fund for 18 years and when we announced the new home of our iconic festival, we wanted to ensure that this continued.”
He said: “By working with Foundation Scotland, there’s a fair process, and we are grateful to them for their support and advice.”
Mr Ellis said the show will continue to support its chosen charities including Rachel House and the Teenage Cancer Trust.

“The grants are vital to many of these grassroots groups to continue their work in supporting the communities in which they operate.”
It is all systems go for this summer’s event after organisers DF Concerts secured a crucial public entertainment licence from Perth and Kinross Council.
This year’s line-up includes the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Calvin Harris and The Stone Roses, who have announced the release of their first new song since 1995.
