Friends of missing teenager Kathleen Harkin have been offered counselling as the search continues.
The doors of Perth Grammar School were opened to pupils as it emerged the 15-year-old’s mobile telephone had been found.
Family link officers have been deployed to the school to provide additional support to any and all who need it.
Kathleen’s friends have taken to social media in huge numbers to pray for her safe return to her family.
Police Scotland thanked everyone for their “positive response” to witness appeals and urged anyone with information to call them on 101.
They also urged Kathleen, should she be “reading or listening to reports” to get in touch.
