Specialist search units, mountain rescue and search dogs have been used to try and trace a missing Perthshire man.
A police spokesperson confirmed that more than a dozen dedicated officers, specialist search units, mountain rescue, SARDA search and rescue dogs, and air support have been systematically searching the Perthshire area looking for Martyn Cruickshank.
The 42-year-old was last seen around 10pm at Turretbank Drive, Crieff on Monday.
He is described as being 5ft 9ins tall, with dark hair and of slim build. Mr Cruickshank is thought to be wearing a distinctive red Helly Hansen ski jacket.
The police spokesperson said: “We would like to ask anyone in the Crieff, Comrie and adjoining rural areas who has a shed, garage or outbuilding to check it in case Martyn has sought refuge within. Also, if anyone in these areas has private CCTV, please check this, or let us know you have it.”
“Anyone who has seen Martyn since Monday, or has information that could assist us in tracing him, please phone 101.”
