Police have removed a chair that was causing concern on one of Tayside’s busiest roads.
The random piece of furniture was spotted in the southbound carriageway of the Friarton Bridge on the M90.
Police shut down one lane of the busy crossing for about 20 minutes while the item was retrieved.

The incident was reported on social media by Traffic Scotland who told followers “you maybe couldn’t chair less, but watch out.”
The stretch was re-opened at 12.30pm.
