A total of 350 people have now tested positive for coronavirus across Tayside and Fife.
According to the latest Scottish Government data, the number of confirmed covid-19 cases in Tayside is 254 and 96 in the kingdom.
It comes after First Minister Nicola Sturgeon revealed that the country’s covid-19 death toll has soared to 76, up from 60 on Tuesday.
The number of confirmed cases in Scotland has soared by 317 to 2,310.
Some 147 people are now in intensive care after displaying coronavirus symptoms.

The surge in Tayside cases was put down to a delay at a Dundee laboratory.
Ms Sturgeon added that the NHS in Scotland now has the ability to carry out 1900 covid-19 tests a day.
As of Wednesday morning a total of 17,007 Scots have been tested for the virus.
